Any environment collects and holds feelings, emotions and energy from the past. These patterns are called imprints. Some of the imprints can be hundreds of years old and belong to previous owners and/or tenants of the space and they still influence the present-day energy. Whatever happens in a home (death, divorce, illness, financial problems, etc.) is absorbed by the walls, floors, ceilings, furniture and so on in that space. Sometimes that energy gets left behind like a latent, emotional residue.
